Chiranjeevi’s Reply Leaves Koratala In Surprise

Expectations are sky-high on Acharya since Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, celebrated father-son will be seen in a full-fledged role for the first time. Moreover Koratala Siva is wielding the megaphone who has a track record of delivering blockbusters at the box-office.

Koratala has spilled beans about his first day interaction with Chiranjeevi on Acharya sets. Of course, it was no less than a fanboy moment for him as he grew up watching Chiranjeevi films and getting to direct him was a surreal feeling.

Koratala says that as Chiranjeevi got down from his caravan and settled himself, he walked up to the actor and expressed his excitement about working with him. “I told Chiranjeevi that it was a privilege to say ‘action’ to him and consider it his achievement to direct him,” says Koratala. But it was Chiranjeevi’s witty reply that surprised Koratala.

Chiranjeevi jokingly said it was his achievement to still be the hero even after Koratala became a director as the latter grew up watching his films. The director feels that is how Chiranjeevi’s perspective is and he never makes anyone feel intimidated by his aura.

In fact, Chiranjeevi never makes anyone feel he is ‘Megastar’, as the moment he comes on sets, he creates an atmosphere such that everyone can approach him freely. We would have seen Acharya release this month but the film got postponed due to the second wave. Koratala after this has a commitment Allu Arjun and Jr NTR.
