Producers Gave in to Rajini Fans’ Demand

The trailer of Jayam Ravi’s upcoming Tamil movie ‘Comali’ has stirred a storm in the tea cup with one of the scenes featured Rajinikanth’s speech when he floated his political party in 2017. That was just used as a timeline to tell the protagonist that he was in a coma for 16 years.

But, the makers of the movie had to give in to the widespread dissent from Rajinikanth’s fans who imagined that it was some kind of joke on the superstar and his political ventures. Upon receiving requests from various quarters, they had decided to remove that part showing Rajinikanth on television.

Certainly, the makers of ‘Comali’ didn’t want to hurt the sentiments of the superstar’s fans and in a manner, they want to appease them and make them watch the movie. However, they cannot be complaining as the trailer of the movie has garnered enough attention by the virtue of the content.

We feel that Rajinikanth fans’ dissent also added to the attention. By the way, Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in his movie bankrolled by Ishari K Ganesh.
