Coming Soon: 2 Million Dollar Club Films in US

While Bollywood is talking about 300 crore club and 400 crore club, Tollywood is also making its headway with decent figures though still trying for debut into 100 crore club. For Tollywood films, US market has become a potential decider of the range of a block buster hit. Without any doubt, Mahesh Babu is the reigning king in US market. Even his flop film like ‘Aagadu’ has made it to the 1million dollar club in US.

If his next film garners hit talk, it would be a cakewalk for Mahesh Babu to be the first one to enter 2 million club. Nevertheless, even a flop film will ensure 1 M club for Mahesh in US. So Mahesh-Koratala movie has all the probability to reach the magic figure. Coming to Ram Charan-Vaitla, Cherry is anyway not so strong in US but Vaitla’s overseas market has been good so far (Dookudu & Badhshah in 1 M dollar club).

Coming to another big film ‘S/O Satyamurthy’, recently Allu Arjun also scored the magic 1 M dollar figure in US but can’t be sure of 2 M dollars if not for Trivikram Srinivas who is naturally the hot favourite for US folks. And one biggest movie of Tollywood, ‘Baahubali’ is the one which could by all means create record to be the first ever Tollywood film to enter the 2 M club in US. Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ even with a small hero like Nani is one of the members of 1 M club. Though Pawan has 2 films aka ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’ in 1 M club, in 2015 we can’t hope for a Pawan’s movie into 2 M club when his next didn’t even go on floors.
