Comparison with Superstar is an honor -Akhil

Next in line star kid who is getting ready for his full fledged debut is Akhil Akkineni. There was lot of talk about his looks and many went on to comparing him with current Super star of the industry Mahesh Babu. When media asked Akhil about this, he says he is honored to be compared with Superstar but he frankly admits that he hasn’t even started and he has a long road ahead of him for travel to prove himself before he can be called as a star.

Akhil says he is blessed to get brands before his first film releases yet he doesn’t see himself as a brand yet. Whatever has happened to him so far is just because of the ‘luck’ and now it’s his job to prove his skills as an actor.

Speaking about his onscreen style, he says he doesn’t know his style yet and his film with Vinayak would unleash his onscreen persona. It only adds more pressure on the star kid when people call him future Mahesh Babu, the tag comes with a lot of expectations on his big screen talent. Let’s wait and see if Akhil can throw any surprises to the current young stars.
