It is the era of advertisements and it seems like Bollywood celebrities and cricketers are more caught up in ads than their films and cricket matches. However according to recent news, some actors including Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan and several other cricketers are in for a trouble due to some of these ads. The actors and eight cricketers which include Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Virendra Sehwag and Zaheer Khan have been accused of promoting adulterated food items.
The Government has already filed a case against the company Sahara-Q’s Chairman Subrata Roy because the contaminated products were discovered at his shop. Reports also say that a complaint has been lodged against several actors and cricketers by the Department of Food Safety, Uttarakhand.
