Controversy on ‘Kaala’ Censor

The ongoing Tamil Film Producers’ Council strike in Kollywood has literally stalled the release of the films that were slated to release in March. Some of the films had even completed the censoring process and were certified. But, films like ‘Kaala’ aren’t certified, yet.

According to the sources from TFPC, after the strike concludes, those films that had already completed Censor will be the first ones to release. That means the makers of ‘Kaala’ have to take the permission of TFPC before submitting the final copy to CBFC for certification as per the sources.

In this scenario, will ‘Kaala‘ come to theatres on 27th April as scheduled? When there are movies that have completed Censor and waiting for the release date, will TFPC allow ‘Kaala’ to go for Censor? The scenario is heating up and there seems to be a controversy brewing up with regard to films’ releases.
