Court digs Actress` suicide case!

Report of Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan’s apparent suicide in 2013 had raised a lot of eyebrows in India, especially when her mother alleged that the actress’ boyfriend Suraj Pancholi, of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was the cause. But since then, there has been no major progress in this case.

In fact, a sessions court on Wednesday even raised the same question. They wanted to know its progress as well as the status of the CBI probe in the case. The judge noted that it had been almost a year since the CBI took over the case. Furthermore, the judge questioned the fact that even though CBI claims that the investigation was over, no charge sheet had been filed.

In the latest hearing of the case, which was attended by Suraj Pancholi while nobody from CBI was present, the court also informed that advocate Dinesh Tiwari, lawyer of Jiah’s mother, would now be the special public prosecutor for the case.
