Case Filed on Rana Daggubati

Gambling is illegal and we know that. Many were surprised to see our popular actors Rana Daggubati and Prakash Raj in an advertisement that promotes gambling in the form of playing ‘Rummy’. Some even thought, ‘May be, Rummy isn’t considered gambling anymore. May be, we aren’t aware.”

But, Coimbatore based social activist filed a case on Rana and Prakash Raj for featuring in the advertisement for junglerummy.com website which promotes gambling. This advertisement is shot for television telecast and hence made to households even.

A petition was filed against the actors. The petitioner also mentioned that there are several other websites on the internet that are promoting online gambling besides junglerummy.com. Will these websites be banned? Will any action be taken on Prakash and Rana? Let’s see.
