Credit for ‘Jawan’: Director’s or Hero’s?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is all set to hit screens amid tremendous hype, with advance bookings surging from Mumbai to Hyderabad.

This raises the obvious question: What is the real reason behind all this hype? Is it because of the hero, Shah Rukh Khan, or the Tamil director, Atlee?

If the significant hype is attributed to Atlee, it’s worth noting that although he has worked with big stars like Vijay, his films have been, content-wise, rather average. He is a recognized name but not as prominent as a brand like Lokesh Kanagaraj in Tamil cinema.

Therefore, it’s evident that the hype is primarily due to Shah Rukh Khan and his solid comeback with Pathaan. He has shown his ability to generate massive numbers with an action film like Pathaan, and now Jawan seems poised to replicate that success as a follow up.

At this point, Jawan only needs an average talk to generate substantial box office figures. If the film garners even more positive feedback, it has the potential to create a sensation at the box office.
