Mohanlal’s most anticipated sequel to Lucifer, L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on March 27th.
Recently, as part of L2: Empuraan’s promotional campaign, Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran have given interviews to many popular YouTube channels.
During an interview with a popular Tamil food blogger, Mohanlal was asked, “Sir, have you ever done anything in real life like in Drishyam?”
Mohanlal and Prithviraj were shocked by this question, and Prithviraj humorously replied, “Yes, I have killed and buried many people.”
This video has now gone viral, and even though it was funny, many netizens on social media commented that interview standards are deteriorating and that only cinema critics should conduct interviews, not food bloggers and Instagram influencers.
Conversely, some viewers have commented that this was one of the best interviews of the L2: Empuraan promotional campaign, noting that Mohanlal appeared particularly happy and relaxed compared to other interviews.
