Critics Engage in Verbal Clashes Over Adipurush

Bollywood critic Taran Adarsh, for reasons known only to him, attempted to undermine Adipurush as a disaster right from day one, giving the film a one-star rating.

To his shock, the movie performed exceptionally well in the Hindi belt, with massive figures in its opening weekend. The collection numbers were so huge that Adipurush’s three-day earnings equaled the life time earnings of two recent Bollywood hits post-Covid. Surprisingly, this one-star critic went into hiding and stopped reporting Adipurush collections.

However, when Adipurush experienced a big drop on Monday, Taran returned with full enthusiasm, attributing the negative talk as the reason behind the film’s performance and expressing his views on Twitter.

This double-faced behavior of the critic has been exposed in broad daylight with regards to another recent big film. This time, another controversial Bollywood critic, Kamal R Khan (KRK), engaged in a verbal battle with Taran, responding with a counter tweet.

KRK tweeted, “Films are the only business in the world where everyone becomes an expert! Whether someone drives a rickshaw, sells tea, washes clothes, or even cuts hair! A tea seller sitting in Bihar or Bengal confidently declares any film a hit or a flop! ”
