Cyberabad Police Bust Shocking Sex Racket In Tollywood

A Telugu film assistant director and his aide have been arrested by Cyberabad police for their association with a major sex racket they had busted. During the operation, the police also rescued four victims who were pushed into the flesh trade.

Suresh Boina alias Kumar Setty alias Karan alias Suresh Siddarth, 32, working as an asst director in the Telugu film industry was taken into custody along with Mekala Akhil Kumar alias Akhil Ashwin alias James, 37, by the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Cyberabad police. Meanwhile, Cyberabad police commissioner Stephen Raveendra stated that four websites that were facilitating the sex trade were taken down.

About 500 women were pushed into trade for big clients by Suresh who used to run a sex racket in Goa after he shifted base to Hyderabad. He sexually assaulted 35 women and pushed 500 into trade from West Bengal, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, etc.

They would post advertisements on websites and contact customers through call centers and WhatsApp. Prostitution would happen in different hotels in the city as per police. The latest arrests are in continuation to a huge racket busted by Cyberabad police on December 5, 2022, when they took into custody 18 people who forced over 14,000 victims into the flesh trade.
