Day 1 BO: Nani Sets ATR With HIT 3!

Tollywood badly needed this one massy film that could bring the wider sections of the audience to the theatre. There was this evident vacuum for a perfectly placed action film, and this is when Nani arrived with his HIT 3.

In accordance with this, the film has now opened on a blockbuster note at the global box office, and the same can be understood from the poster that has been released by the makers.

The makers have stated that this film has opened on a blockbuster note with ₹43 crore collections globally on the first day.

This is the first time that a non-top six superstar film has opened on such a big note at the box office. A few might categorise it as Tier 2 record but let’s not go into this tier1 and tier2 segregation now.

The film has started pretty well in the conventional mass belt of ceded and also the generally lucrative Nizam belt. The mass appeal and the action content appears to have pulled the audience to theatres in big numbers.

Adding to that the long weekend advantage starting from May 1 has come in very handy for this film. This is the reason why even a mixed word of mouth could not hamper the strong box office opening.

The film was able to register $870K opening in North America, which is another new all-time record for Nani as well. The film is punching above its weight in the United States, and this is a very positive sign.

After this super positive start at the box office, the key aspect here is maintaining the momentum over the weekend.
