Day 2: Solid Hold For Sye Raa, Massive Weekend In Offering

Sye Raa has continued it’s strong sway the box office on its second day as well. It was a mid-week working day, and yet the movie has continued to draw the audience in numbers.

The second day of Sye Raa is just a touch above 10 Cr. After the Baahubali 2, and the recently released Saaho, only Sye Raa has managed a double-digit collection on the second day. But, the crucial thing to understand here is that the other two were on Saturday.

The two days total is around 48 Cr which is again pretty solid. It is only next to Baahubali 2. The second-day hold suggests a superb trend going into the weekend. It will, however, depend on the kind of screens Sye Raa manages to hold with two new releases coming up tomorrow (October 5th).

A massive weekend looks on the card provided the movie gets a large share of screens. Irrespective of the number of theatres, the Dasara festival will give a boost in the coming days, though.

Sye Raa is an epic historical made on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. It has been a dream project of Megastar Chiranjeevi for ages. Finally, Ram Charan fulfilled the father’s wish with director Surender Reddy at the helm.
