Decent Weekend –Big Drop Ahead For Katamarayudu

Katamarayudu had a decent first weekend. It collected approximately forty-three crores according to the early estimates. The Pawan Kalyan starrer has released on March 24.

The opening weekend number is fourth highest after Baahubali, Khaidi No 150 and Janatha Garage. However, the early signs on Monday aren’t that positive. There are drops across the board, and it doesn’t augur well for the future of Katamarayudu.

In the US, Katamarayudu has sneaked past 1 Million in the weekend and escaped the embarrassment anticipated on opening day. It will go past Sardaar Gabbar Singh comfortably and be second highest grosser for Pawan Kalyan in the US. Still, it doesn’t help the case of the movie from becoming a disaster.
