Only Actress Working with Two 1000-Crore Superstars

Deepika Padukone is making bold choices in her career. After welcoming her first child, she surprised everyone by walking away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-hyped Spirit with Prabhas, citing her 8-hour work principle. Instead, she chose projects with two of India’s biggest stars.

Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun have both delivered Rs. 1000 crore global blockbusters. Deepika is now the only actress working back-to-back with both. Her next film with Shah Rukh Khan, titled King, has already started production and is set for release in 2026.

This reunion brings back Bollywood’s most celebrated on-screen pair after Pathaan and Jawan. Expectations are sky-high, with King already being talked about as one of the most awaited Hindi films of the coming years.

Soon after, Deepika begins work on AA22xA6, Atlee’s alternate reality spectacle with Allu Arjun. Mounted on a huge budget, it features an international team for action and visuals. Allu Arjun reportedly plays a triple role across parallel universes, while Deepika appears in a warrior-inspired avatar.

According to Himesh Mankad from Pink Villa, Deepika has set aside nearly 100 shooting days for AA22xA6, beginning November 2025. The role demands heavy preparation, new physical training, and elaborate costumes. The cast also includes Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur, with a release planned for 2027.

With King and AA22xA6, Deepika is cementing her place at the centre of India’s most ambitious spectacles. Industry buzz has already labelled her the only actress working with two 1000-crore superstars in back-to-back films, a feat that sets her apart in Indian cinema.
