Desi jailed in US for bribery!

Indian-American doctor, Yash Khanna is earning income of more than $381,000 in 2008, $400,000 in 2009 and $214,000 in 2010. But instead of paying the mandatory Taxes, Khanna went on seeking extensions for the last three years.

He is also said to be involved in bribery with Orange MRI for allegedly performing diagnostic tests for Medicare and Medicaid patients. For both the charges, Yash Khanna has been sentences to nine months in jail by an American Court.

In addition to imprisonment, he will also have to undergo one month of severe house arrest and three years of supervised release. The Indian-American doctor who owned and operated his own medical practice, Family Medicine and Pediatrics LLC was also fined $30,000 and ordered to forfeit $10,400.
