Despite Scare, Vakeel Saab Team Goes Ahead With It

On a day when one of the lead actresses of Vakeel Saab, Nivetha Thomas disclosed that she has tested positive for covid-19; the makers of the film have confirmed the most awaited news. They are indeed going ahead with the pre-release function of Vakeel Saab.

As has been speculated for some time, the pre-release event of Vakeel Saab will take place on April 4th. It was a tossup between April 2nd and April 4th, with Pawan Kalyan committed to a political rally on April 3rd. The makers have opted for the latter.

The event will take place at Shilpa Kala Vedika. It will not be the usual large scale gathering type and have limited attendance of fans. Most of the crowd will be restricted to the known circle. Everyone is informed about the protocol and must carry a mask.

Vakeel Saab is the first film of Pawan Kalyan for Dil Raju’s production. He has been trying to do a movie with Pawan Kalyan for ages. Before the corona spike, the buzz was that he intended to make it a grand affair in Telugu cinema. Unfortunately, covid-19 has played spoilsport.

Still, Dil Raju is going great guns with offline publicity. He is sparing no effort to give Vakeel Saab the best. We have to see how he proceeds further considering the latest development. Vakeel Saab, directed by Venu Sriram hits the big screens in a record number of theatres on April 9th.
