Devara Ayudha Pooja Track: More Important Than the Trailer

Jr. NTR’s Devara theatrical trailer, focused on establishing the dramatic elements, received some disappointing feedback for missing the high-octane action that everyone expected.

Now, the next in line is the much-hyped Ayudha Pooja track from Devara. At this point, we’d say it’s equally, if not more, important than the trailer itself. If it delivers the right impact, it could completely alter the game.

Devara pre-sales are already skyrocketing in the U.S., but what it needs now is impactful content to push the sales even higher.

After the mixed reception to the trailer, this Ayudha Pooja track is crucial for three people, each for different reasons:

Firstly, there’s been some criticism of NTR’s presence in the trailer. A powerful Ayudha Pooja track can wipe away those doubts.

Secondly, while music director Anirudh didn’t disappoint, he didn’t deliver the original high he’s known for with Tamil stars. This is his best opportunity to address that and justify the hype he is getting.

Lastly, director Koratala Siva, known for being preachy and subtle, promised high-octane action in Devara, but the trailer followed his usual subdued route. Now, the Ayudha Pooja track is his best shot to prove he has moved beyond that preachiness.
