Devara Destruction: Lesson For Small Films

Karthi’s Meiyazhagan was released on September 27th and acquired positive responses from the audiences and critics. Even though the film acquired positive responses, it didn’t get a box office breakthrough in Telugu states.

Karthi’s Meiyazhagan, directed by C. Prem Kumar, who is known for his 96 movie, was a feel-good movie with a play of human emotions. The people who have watched this movie have been showering their positive reviews for this movie.

In this scenario, Meiyazhagan’s Telugu version, which is Satyam Sundaram, is also getting positive responses from the Telugu audiences, even though it can’t be able to increase the screen count and give a box office breakthrough.

On the other side, NTR’s Devara has been released and is dominating the box office. For this, many audiences mentioned that producers should have planned accordingly if any big direct Telugu movies were released on the same day.

Due to NTR’s Devara, Satyam Sundaram even hasn’t been able to secure most of the screens and has also been performing average at the box office. Let us hope the producers will hereafter plan a good strategy to bring the dubbed version of movies on a different date if there are any direct languages movies are releasing in the other languages.
