Devara Hits $6 million, a New Club For NTR in U.S.

When the overseas rights for Devara were sold, it became a talking point in the U.S. distribution circle because the price had never been heard of for an NTR film.

NTR’s previous highest grosser in the U.S. was Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which collected $2 million.

However, the trade considers the increased market and NTR’s stardom following RRR, as he is coming back with his solo release after six years.

Devara grabbed the attention of U.S. audiences right from the very start, and its pre-sales set a record in the U.S.

Now, Devara needs just another $60K to enter the $6 million club for NTR, which is expected to happen in the next few hours.

Surprisingly, the Hindi version of Devara grossed more than half a million, with the exact figure being $536,946.

It’s a big hit in the U.S., and NTR’s next movies will likely be sold for even higher prices, especially since his upcoming Telugu film is directed by Prashanth Neel.
