Young hero to be seen in a political role!

Well-known hero Dhanush is all set to play a double role in his upcoming Durai Senthilkumar directed film opposite popular actress Shamilee.

The actor will play the roles of two brothers, the elder one being involved in politics while the younger one is simply a local boy. The actress Shamilee will play the love interest of the younger one.

We hear that the movie will have a second leading lady and after Vidya Balan turned down the role, the filmmakers want Lakshmi Menon to play the role. Reports suggest that the yet-to-be-titled film will have a renowned Bollywood star in the antagonist’s role.

The shooting for this political thriller will commence in October this year after Dhanush is done with the shooting of his Prabhu Solomon film.
