Dhoom 3’s earth shattering weekend

Dhoom 3 starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif had taken a record breaking opening and now it has extended that to the weekend as well. The film has broken the previous opening weekend record by a big margin without the aid of holiday. The feat therefore is considered as earth shattering by the trade.

Not just in India, it’s the same overseas as well. Dhoom 3 has taken key international markets in overseas by storm and has debuted in top 10 charts in most of those markets, according to reliable trade trackers. What all this means in that Dhoom 3 has grossed approximately 200 Cr for weekend alone worldwide which is humongous and sensational to say the least. However the real test for the film begins now feels the trade as the Monday begins. If it passes the weekdays test as well in similar fashion the trade expects the film to put up some unheard of before numbers.
