In the past two films of Cherry, Toofan and Yevadu were affected due to the Telangana agitations. Yevadu had a perfect release date but it got postponed to avoid the unexpected circumstances. By the time the film released, it was kind of slate. Toofan arrived amidst all the drama and was a washout.

Now, the demonetization is giving similar chills in the industry. Many movies are getting postponed and buzz in the industry is that it will be the same with biggies. Dhruva which happens to be the immediate release will have to face the music. Already there are strong indications that the movie will not come on announced date, December 2nd.

Can Dhruva afford a postponement? Will this delay result in a decrease in buzz on a film which is already not that high on buzz? Many questions like these are puzzling the fans and makers. A final decision will be known in the coming days when the grand pre-release event will happen.
