The film Dhurandhar 2 has emerged as one of the biggest box office sensations in recent Indian cinema. The sequel, which released last week, is performing exceptionally well and is heading towards the Rs 1000 crore mark.
Amid this success, a controversy involving this Ranveer Singh film has gained attention on social media. The issue revolves around a few viral images linked to the film.
These images show Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza/Jaskirat smoking a cigarette while wearing a turban. Some viewers believed these were real stills from the film and expressed concern, stating that Sikhs do not engage in such practices.
However, director Aditya Dhar has clarified the situation. He addressed the issue on social media and provided an official explanation.
Aditya Dhar confirmed that the viral image is not from the film. He stated that the picture of Hamza smoking while wearing a turban is AI-generated and not an actual scene featuring Ranveer Singh.
He also urged the public and cinema lovers not to believe or spread such misleading content. According to him, the controversy has arisen due to the misuse of artificial intelligence.
With this clarification, the issue is expected to settle. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 continues its strong run at the box office, which remains the key highlight.
