With nearly three weeks left for release, Dhurandhar 2 is already showing solid signs of overseas dominance. Advance bookings have opened in key international markets such as the US and the UK, and early trends suggest that Dhurandhar 2 is heading toward a powerful start. Interestingly, one of the major US exhibition chains is yet to begin full scale advance sales, yet the initial response is already sending clear signals about opening day momentum.

The UK market, traditionally not known for heavy early advances this far ahead of release, is witnessing extraordinary pre-sales in prime cinema locations that typically perform well for major Hindi films. The first installment had collected over £3 million in the UK, which was considered good but comparatively underwhelming relative to other overseas territories. This time, early trends indicate that Dhurandhar 2 could shatter initial circuit records in the region. When a relatively low advance market like the UK starts responding at this scale, it usually is a sign that it is going to create a tsunami in larger territories.

In North America, the contrast between Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic is becoming increasingly visible. In India, however, the scenario will be slightly more complex. Toxic is expected to secure around 25 to 30 percent of screen space, which could limit Dhurandhar 2’s maximum capacity. Despite that, trade observers believe the film could register one of the highest opening day occupancy rates since Baahubali: The Conclusion. Ultimately, total collections will depend on how much capacity can be built through screen expansion and ticket pricing strategies.
