Dhurandhar 2 is gearing up for a major theatrical release next month, and excitement is steadily building among audiences. While fans are still waiting for the trailer, fresh reports about the film have begun circulating online, sparking curiosity and debate.
According to recent reports, the film has allegedly completed its censor process. Several outlets claim that Dhurandhar 2 has received a U/A 16+ certificate. These reports also suggest that the sequel has a runtime of 208 minutes, which is said to be shorter than the first part.
However, these updates have created confusion. Two different CBFC certification images are trending online. One image mentions detailed certification information, while the other does not, leaving audiences unsure about which version is authentic.
It has now been clarified that both images actually belong to the first part. The original film was reportedly re-censored for its television release. The certificate does not mention Part 2 or The Revenge, confirming that the sequel has not yet gone through certification.
Many online users have dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing should be believed until official confirmation arrives. Some fans strongly feel that it is unlikely such a violent film would receive a parental guidance certificate without changes.
Ranveer Singh’s fans have also reacted strongly. They believe the makers will not dilute the film’s intensity or reduce its runtime. Supporters insist the sequel must be more brutal to surpass the success of the first instalment.
The buzz has even led to demands for a third film, with some viewers hoping it becomes a franchise. Others feel the story should not be stretched further. Regardless, the sequel has already generated strong buzz ahead of release.
