Did KCR Lay A Trap for Modi and Amit Shah?

A few media houses have started fresh speculations about the GHMC elections. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao went on a Delhi trip and met the BJP bosses including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Reports are that KCR offered Mayor Seat to BJP while keeping Deputy Mayor to TRS in lieu of friendship with the Saffron Party. As soon as KCR arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay was asked to report to Delhi.

If this happens to be true, it will be a sensation because TRS and BJP are after each other’s throats in the recent elections. That will also mean that the Saffron Party could not go as aggressive it is now on the Telangana Rashtra Samiti. It will curtail the chances of BJP growing in Telangana.

It is known to our readers that TRS emerged as the Single Largest Party in the GHMC elections but still fell short of the majority needed despite having a huge number of Ex-officio votes. The State BJP leaders are refuting any such proposals but you never know in politics. BJP needs the support of TRS in passing several crucial bills especially in Rajya Sabha where it has no majority.
