Different Route: Starkid to work for Ravi Teja

Anyone cine lover who is a fan of ace director Mani Ratnam cannot forget one of his films ‘Amruta’ and Keertana, the girl who played the title role. The girl astoni shed the audience with her National Award winning performance. Keerthana is a star kid who is the daughter of senior actor Seetha and Tamil actor-director Parthipan. This Keertana is now grown up good-lookng teenager.

Unlike her mother Seetha, Keertana isn’t interested to take up acting but wants to wield megaphone like her father and become a director. She is already getting trained working with director Thyagarajan, hero Prashanth’s (Shankar ‘Jeans’ fame) father. Soon, she is going to work with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja for the remake of superhit Hindi film ‘Special Chabbees’.

It is very common that daughters of yester heroines also turning heroines. But Keertana chose a different route and going by the talent she displayed at a very tender age as a child artist, cine observers can see a bright future for the girl and the thought someone is thinking out of routine itself is refreshing.
