Dil Raju Did Not Mean to Insult Bunny But It Happened?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun was rechristened as Icon Staar recently at the Pushpa Introduction event. There have been several debates about the new tag on social media but then, the tag may not have impressed Senior Producer Dil Raju as well.

At a press meet of Vakeel Saab, Dil Raju has mentioned that Sriram Venu will be directing Allu Arjun in Icon, a project which was announced long back. One of the press reporters asked him about the Icon Staar tag given for Bunny recently.

Dil Raju immediately said they did not give him the tag and he himself has named him as such. Saying a star named himself with a tag actually amounts to insulting and Dil Raju does that as a slip of tongue. Maybe he did not mean it actually. That also reinforces the fact that ‘Icon Staar’ is not something really impressing people and people would still love Bunny as Icon Staar.

During the days of Shakthi, NTR was given the title ‘A1 Star’ but it was dropped later after the movie bombed. It has to be seen if Pushpa team will reconsider Icon Staar following the feedback coming in.
