After Mahesh, Kammula Reveals Another Name!

Right from the beginning, Shekhar Kammula has big stars on his mind for ‘Fidaa‘ and now now he reveals yet another name which he considered for Varun Tej’s role even before he thought of Mahesh Babu.

It was Pawan Kalyan on his mind and Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Tholi Prema’, ‘Suswagatham’ and other movies were playing on his mind when he was scripting the second half. But then, Dil Raju advised him to go for a hero who didn’t achieve stardom, yet.

Shekhar Kammula was happy with the way he shot the scenes in Bansuwada and he wanted to go back to the US to shoot again to being the same authenticity as Bansuwada. But, Dil Raju didn’t agree to that and the director had to be content enough with what he shot in America.
