Dil Raju’s Version for Samantha’s Tweet

The stage is being set for the Telugu remake of critically acclaimed Tamil classic movie ’96’ with Samantha and Sharwanand playing the lead roles. Dil Raju was totally into remaking the movie in Telugu right from the time he watched the Tamil movie for the first time. Looks like, he is so bewitched by ’96’ that he is trying to make everything positive for the remake.

Responding to Samantha’s old tweet from September 2018 when asked if she was playing Trisha’s role in the remake, she said that ’96’ shouldn’t be remade in the first place, Dil Raju gave an elaborate explanation saying that Sam tweeted about the movie when she didn’t have any clarity with whom Dil Raju is going to do the film and also that the director of the original will be directing the remake, as well.

In a recent interaction, the producer said that he will do everything in his capacity to make the Telugu remake work. He seems to be sure that the remake can be well presented in Telugu with the original director Prem Kumar on board. By the way, the director denied the rumours claiming that he is going to tweak the story a bit and change the school episode to college episode. So, it will be a true remake with minor changes.
