Direct-to-OTT: Keerthy Suresh’s 80s Crime Drama

Talented actress, Keerthy Suresh already had two direct to OTT releases – Penguin and Miss India. Her long-delayed Tamil film Saani Kaayidham is also heading the OTT way.

As per reports, Saani Kaayidham is likely to be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the first or the second week of March. Amazon is expected to drop an official announcement on the OTT release date soon.

Saani Kaayidham is billed to be a crime drama set in the 1980s backdrop. Keerthy Suresh and director-turned-actor Selvaraghavan play the lead roles in the film. Keerthy plays Selvaraghavan’s sister in the film.

Keerthy will apparently be playing a character named ‘Settlement Sambhavi’, a menacing lady in the film, which is directed by Arun Matheswaran.

Keerthy Suresh is raring to get back to winning ways now. Her previous film, Good Luck Sakhi was also a complete washout at the box office. It remains to be seen if Saani Kaayidhan will provide some respite to the actress.
