Srikanth Addala is a director of three films who had handled big stars like Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha etc. His first film ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ was a block buster. Second one SVSC was a multi-starrer with big heroes. Though his films were big ticket movies, his subjects always had been very simple, as simple as his own self. He deals with middle class emotions with great detail.

His simplicity can be understood in his lifestyle. It is learnt that Srikanth Addala still uses his two wheeler for his everyday journey. Though this doesn’t seem realistic for those who don’t know him, for people who shared work experiences with him, his simplcity is natural and there lies the secret behind the way he foresees the nature of his characters, very down to earth. He gets inspiration from society, by being very close to it.
