Director Leaves Social Media After Blockbuster

Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj is the man of the hour after the spectacular success of his latest movie Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil including Suriya in a crucial cameo as Rolex. The action thriller emerged as Kollywood’s highest-grossing film of the year and also registered a record number of views on Disney+Hotstar.

All eyes were set on Kanagaraj’s next, starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. But he dropped a bomb that he is leaving social media.

Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter on August 1 and posted that he was taking a small ‘break’ from social media. However, he also informed his fans that he would be back soon with new film announcements.

His next tentatively titled Thalapathy67 is speculated to be part of the Lokesh Kanagraj Cinematic Universe that would include characters from Kaithi and Vikram as well.
