
Now Indraganti is making news for all the wrong reasons. Being a critic’s director, he tried his hand at commercial films like V and Gentleman. While V was an utter flop, Gentleman did decent business. After a long gap, he has come up with his latest, which seems to be another emotional drama, like some of his earlier films.
But it is not his film nor his direction that is being talked about now. During one of the promotional interviews, he made a statement that some actors feel do not understand the difference between a character and characterization.
That by itself is a generic statement. But what has got many Allu Arjun fans irked on social media is the fact that while making the statement, Indraganti pointedly made the extremely popular ‘taggede le’ gesture of Allu Arjun. Naturally, this has got the netizens hitting out at the director.
Many are also saying that he didn’t mean to demean Allu Arjun in any way going by the video. But fans are very sensitive these days, and they can’t tolerate any kind of negativity against their favorite star.
