Director’s Last Chance For Redemption!

Tollywood director Praveen Sattaru gained recognition after the success of “PSV Garuda Vega,” which revived Rajasekhar’s career. Producers showed interest in Praveen Sattaru to direct action thrillers.

However, he faced huge setbacks afterward. His Netflix web series “Baahubali” was shelved due to poor quality outcomes.

His latest two films, “The Ghost” featuring Nagarjuna and “Gandeevadhari Arjuna” with Varun Tej as the lead, both were washouts at the box office. Gandeevadhari Arjuna incurred a loss of over Rs 20 crores.

Now Sattaru is making a mini-comeback, but this time as the showrunner of the web series Athidhi, which starts streaming on Disney+Hotstar on September 19.

Yesteryear ‘Swayamvaram’ actor Venu also returns after a long gap with this horror web series, which marks his debut in the OTT arena.

Avantika Mishra plays the female lead. Neninthe fame Siya Gautam is another actress who got a meatier lead role. Director Bharat YG and his company, Random Frames Entertainment, are behind this web series.

We have to see if Athidhi turns out to be some relief for Praveen Sattaru, who has completely lost his track after two mammoth disasters. This might be his last chance for redemption.
