Director Not To Experiment With Chaitu

A film in the combination of creative director Vikram K Kumar and Naga Chaitanya have been locked. The first reports came earlier in the year. And now the official confirmation has come from the horse’s mouth.

In a chat with fans, director Vikram Kumar has confirmed that his next would be with Naga Chaitanya. He further added that it would be an entertaining character drama that looks at the inward journey of the protagonist. There would be a proper mix of action and romance, as well.

Akkineni fans have a high expectation from Vikram Kumar. The director has delivered a classic Manam involving all the Akkineni heroes. He later made Hello with Akhil. But it was a far too unique and experimental kind of idea to turn a blockbuster at the box office. It is the reason why despite good acclaims, the film didn’t fare that well at the box office.

An entertaining movie in the combination of Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar would be ideal follow up after Love Story. Back to back successful films could cement Chaitu as an urban force, and improve his stand in the US market.

Naga Chaitanya is currently busy wrapping up Love Story under Sekhar Kammula’s direction. Vikram Kumar’s last release was Nani starrer Gang Leader. He is giving finishing touches to his new script to be made with Chaitu.
