Dirty heroine puts a check on top heroine

Let’s talk about a simple logic. If a top heroine like Priyanka Chopra acts a prostitute baring her body, she would receive all acclaim for her bold & hot scenes and daring performance. Very classy. But if the same character is essayed by a heroine like Mallika Sherawat, she would receive flak for her skin show, very dirty. That’s how cine goers and critics weigh success.

But this time, Mallika indirectly surprised Bollywood circles by playing her cards right. One of Priyanka Chopra’s bold project ‘Madamji’ was said to be shelved for now because of Mallika. In ‘Madamji’, Priyanka’s character is a bar dancer who rises to an weighty politician which has resemblances to Mallika’s character in her latest movie ‘Dirty Politics’.

Obviously, a top heroine like Priyanka Chopra wouldn’t want to repeat a character like one of her colleague’s. Hence ‘Madamji’ hit roadblock and apparently got shelved. This female-centric film might go for a script revision and till then it should be understood that it is indefinitely postponed.
