Disastrous director to team up with Star hero

Some combinations really create a lot of enthusiasm and interest among the audiences. But it is unlikely that a star hero who is presently on new high choosing a director who has been tasting failures at box-office. Though the situation seems to be reverse, the combination seems very interesting because the star hero in discussion is Dhanush and the director is Mani Ratnam.

Ace film maker Mani Ratnam is truly one of the best directors from South Film Industry. But his previous films tanked at the box-office miserably that we have heard many Tollywood actors allegedly turning down his offers quoting various reasons. But the truth reigns that Mani isn’t in form right now. He finally retracted and did a small movie with Nitya Menon and Dulquer Salman (Malayalam superstar Mammooty’s son).

Nevertheless Dhanush is literally excited to get an oppurtunity to work with such a seasoned director like Mani Ratnam. Mani has completed his film ‘Ok Bangaram’ (‘Ok Kanmani’ in Tamil) and is presently free to work on Dhanush’s film. Movie lovers are hoping that Mani Ratnam would bring back the magic of his making with Dhanush’s film and be back with a bang into the top league.
