Don’t Blame Other for Loses – Rajinikanth to Exhibitors

For the past decade or so, which includes few of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema history, Superstar Rajinikanth has been hounded by a section of exhibitors citing loses. It is frustrating, and that inner voice finally seems to have found a right platform to explode.

Of course, Superstar was all subtle about what he had to say, but he did say what he wanted to without mincing words. Rajinikanth said that exhibitors should be careful when buying films, they should not come under the influence of producers gimmick and pay exorbitant prices and then later blame them for losses.

Similarly, he also asked producers not to be self-centric and sell at unrealistic prices. They should see that everyone down the chain is happy and not just look for their gains. Coming from Superstar Rajinikanth, the words do carry weight as he has been harassed very much over the years. Also, this is a universal truth across the industries, the issue here is will anyone listen?
