Don’t Call ‘Item Number’ Request for Chiru’s Acharya

Regina Cassandra has been roped in for a special number in megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie ‘Acharya’ with director Koratala Siva. Naturally, she is very happy for bagging the chance opposite Chiru. Who wouldn’t be?

The actress says that this would be her first and the last special songs. Regina said yes to the song for two reasons; the first reason dancing alongside the megastar and the second reason is because of her love for dance.

However, she requests it not to be called an item number. So, what must we call the special song in ‘Acharya’ called? Reginal wants it to be labelled as a celebration song, not an item number. So, be it.

It would be a treat for mega fans to watch their idol dancing for a celebration song, indeed! Though Koratala Siva deals with concepts delivering social messages, special songs have always made a place in his films from ‘Mirchi’ except for in ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.
