“Don’t Come To Press Meets Without Proper Knowledge”

Reputed Production house Swapna Cinema is coming up with another musical romantic family entertainer titled Anni Manchi Sakunamule. Starring Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair, the film is directed by Nandini Reddy.

Recently, a press meet was conducted in Tirupati as part of promotions. During the press meet, a small ruckus happened between director Nandini Reddy and the journalists who had come to the event to cover it.

Malavika Nair was talking about her experience of working in the film and how she feels lucky to act with a veteran like Sowkaar Janaki. When Nandini Reddy also repeated the same thing, the journalists got irked and asked them not to repeat the same thing again and again and waste their time.

Then it was revealed that the journalists had been waiting for the team to arrive at the venue for more than 90 minutes. They complained that they were exhausted and frustrated after waiting for such a long time as they had other commitments too.

Nandini Reddy gave them an explanation that they had reached the hotel just a while ago, and the team straight away came to the press meet after having lunch.

Nandini Reddy also requested journalists to do some homework and watch some of the film’s content before coming to the press meeting. She said that if the journos have some information and knowledge about the film prior to the event, they can ask them relevant questions, which will be time-saving for both parties.
