Don’t Write off Nani Yet

The most awaited TRP of ‘Bigg Boss 2’ show had come out and one must agree that Nani’s reality show opened with a decent TRP of 15.05. However, it failed to beat NTR’s 16.18 TRP for ‘Bigg Boss 1’. If we analyze the two TRPs, there is only a slight difference.

The first season started off with a star hero taking up the show for his stature and even the format of the show was quite new and different for the Telugu audiences. There was a certain curiosity among the viewers because of a format like a Bigg Boss that was totally not touched in Telugu television channels, till then.

In case of Nani, the viewers had become familiar with the Bigg Boss concept and hence, the curiosity factor was absent. Even the contestants of the second season failed to command much attention. Adding to this, there was a comparison with NTR. Overall, Nani has pulled it off quite decently. Nevertheless, the burden lingers on his shoulders. How will he take the show forward, giving his own twist and adding his style?
