
Legal notices have been sent to the makers of the movie and the music director by Lahari Music who hold the copyrights for the two songs alleged to have been copied from earlier films. One song happens to be from Shiva Rajkumar’s (he is the brother of Puneeth Rajkumar) film ‘Ranaranga’ produced by his mother in 1988. But the copyrights are with Lahari Music.
Another song from ‘Seetha Ramayyagaari Manavaralu’ was also alleged to be copied. Even the rights for this song are with Lahari Music. The makers deny the copy from Telugu film but say that they will take permissions for the song from ‘Ranaranga’ from which they had taken only three words not the tune.
