Double Trouble For Jr NTR?

NTR attained pan India hype with RRR and the stakes are high on his next film, Devara which is in production phase now.

Coming to tue topic, it appears to be that a double trouble is awaiting NTR in the Hindi belt as two Bollywood films are sizing up Devara now.

The two Hindi films are Bade Miyan Chote Miyan featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, and Bastar.

The Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff multistarrer is an action thriller and it has decent prospects in the Bollywood circuit. As for Bastar, it could be another propaganda film from the makers of another propaganda film, Kerala Stories, so it might get at least a fabricated good run in the Hindi belt.

Bastar is officially announced for release on 5 April, the same day as Deveara. As for the Akshay and Tiger film, it is announced for Eid release so it will also release in very close vicinity with Devara.

This is NTR’s first pan Indian film after RRR and on top of that, Koratala hasn’t had any impact or attempt in the pan Indian belt till now. So, Devara will entirely depend on NTR’s post-RRR image in the pan Indian belt. The film now has to take on two prospective Hindi films in the all-important Hindi belt now.
