Doubts On ‘Major’ Laid To Rest

Adivi Sesh’s Major is in the last leg of the shoot. The actor apart from announcing the film entering the final schedule also cleared the confusion on film release. Adivi Sesh cleared that the film will only release in theatres when the time is safe.

The film is based on the biopic of martyred Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life fighting in the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks. Major is the maiden pan-Indian film for Adivi Sesh which has a universal appeal thus the actor is eyeing to tap into the Bollywood market too. Thus the makers have diligently planned to release the film at an appropriate time.

The film teaser has evoked a unanimous positive response from all quarters. And with top production houses including Mahesh Babu’s banner bankrolling it, the hype around Major is huge.

Major overseas rights have been sold for a fancy price and even the Hindi satellite rights have been said to be sold for Rs 10 crores. It s worth mentioning that, the film having sold off its rights for a good amount has acted as an elixir to other films too recently.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film stars Saiee Manjrekar and Shobitha Dhulipalla in key roles.
