Down But Far From Out, Director Announces Two Notable Projects

Director Teja may be down, but he is far from being out entirely. As it is his birthday, the filmmaker has announced not one, but two projects as his line-up. They also happen to have notable faces attached to them.

The two projects in the making are Alivelumanga Venkatarama and Rakshasaraju Ravanasurudu. They are to be headed by Gopichand and Rana, respectively. Both the actors have in the past worked with the director and delivered success. The former had his life turning success with Teja whereas Rana scored his career-best solo success with him.

Teja has been in the industry as a director for over two decades now. He went through a slump in the last decade but bounced back with Nene Raju Nene Manthri, starring Rana. Unfortunately, he again missed the bus with Bellamkonda Srinivas and Kajal starrer Sita.

The upcoming two films could be the final ‘make-or-break’ kind of deal for Teja to regain a commercial status. Other details about these two films are awaited. Both the actors are currently busy with a project or two each. We have to see which of these takes off first.
