This will affect several photographers in the city who use drones to cover big fat events and weddings happening in the city. They now can not use them with out obtaining prior permission from the police department.

Police are asking to those intending to use camera-fitted drones to apply for permission, mentioning details of the equipment and purpose. The permissions will be given after studying the genuineness of the case. Already the ban is in place in Delhi and Mumbai.
