Daytime checks, now on Hyd roads

Coming the days in Hyderabad roads, where inebriated drivers would be nabbed during daytime also. Already Hyderabad Police conducted pilot checks at Hyderabad roads at Panjagutta, Banjara Hills, Abids and Secunderabad in daytime.

The accidents in daytime contribute more number of accidents triggered city police to check drunken drivers during daytime also. Police nabbed 34 persons on first day of their check. In daytime checks, more number of two wheeler dominated the four wheeler culprits. Hyderabad Traffic Police conducted their second time of checks during daytime on October 3rd where they caught 48 persons in inebriated condition.

Now, Hyderabad Traffic police decided to do surprise checks during daytime also. Police book drivers under section of 185 of the Motor Vehicular Act for drunken driving if the Blood Alcoholic Content(BAC) is more than 30mg/100ml.
